Las Vegas, Nevada, February 4, 2000
InnTechnology, the Glendale, California based corporation providing technology products and services to the hospitality industry has teamed up with the new luxurious Venetian hotel in Las Vegas to provide the company's proprietary In-Room-Office system to every one of the Venetian's magnificent 700 square foot suites.
The HP OfficeJet 520 all-in-one, color printer/scanner/fax/copier is one of the many cutting-edge amenities that the Venetian is providing to all of their guests at the 3036 suite resort.
InnTechnology's product and services along with the HP OfficeJet 520 all-in-one product, enables the guest to print reports, email and other business or personal information in color in the convenience of their room. The Venetian's guests do not have to run down to the hotel's business center or to the nearest copy store to print, fax or copy. In addition, the fax service is unique in that each guest gets a private fax number when he/she checks in allowing personal direct faxing in and out of the suite. The guest can also print his/her hotel bill in the room and check out without having to visit the front desk.
"We have been tremendously gratified at the positive response our guests have had to InnTechnology's service," said Jack Braman, VP Information Technologies of The Venetian. "The guests love having an all-in-one in the room, they tell us it enhances their stay and enables them to be more productive when they chose to be. It is one more way we have been able to create the world's finest hospitality experience for our guests," added Braman.
Built at the site of the former Sands Hotel and Casino, The Venetian includes the first all-suites hotel on the "Strip" with 3,036 suites (note, the standard room averages 700 sq. ft. and include two 27" color televisions, a safe, a mini bar, the HP OfficeJet 520 all-in-one, printer/scanner/fax/copier ), three telephones and other lavish appointments to accommodate business and frequent independent travelers); a gaming facility of approximately 120,000 sq. ft.; The Grand Canal Shoppes of approximately 500,000 sq. ft.; and The Venetian Congress Center of approximately 500,000 sq. ft.-- all connected to the existing Sands Expo and Convention Center. The combination of the hotel, meeting space and The Sands Expo and Convention Center meeting space of 1.7 million sq. ft. makes The Venetian the world's largest hotel and convention complex under one roof.
Mirrored after Renaissance-Venice, the highly-themed resort includes waterways, gondolas, and replicas of Venetian landmarks such as the Doge's Palace, the Rialto Bridge, the Ca D'Oro and the Campanile Tower. "The Grand Canal Shoppes," the complex's indoor mall area, features a one-quarter mile Venetian streetscape with intimate "piazza"- style settings and a "Grand Canal" running its length with a fleet of functional gondolas, singing gondoliers and waterside cafes crossed by authentically-styled Venetian bridges.
The Venetian Resort-Hotel-Casino opened May 3, 1999 and includes some of the finest themed entertainment concepts in the U.S. In addition to brand name and exclusive boutique shopping in The Grand Canal Shoppes, The Venetian has the first ever stateside Madame Tussaud's wax museum, a 65,000 square foot SpaClub by Canyon Ranch, and restaurants such as Emeril Lagass's Delmonico Steakhouse, Joachim Splichal's Pinot Brassiere, Canaletto by the creators of Il Fornaio, Eberhard Mülle's Lutece, Grand Lux Cafe by the creators of the Cheesecake Factory, Piero Selvaggio's Valentino, Stephan Pyle's Star Canyon and Taqueria Canonita, Gian Paolo Belloni's Zefferino, and Kevin Wu's Royal Star.
